Insurgent: Book Two of Divergent Series by Veronica Roth
5 out of 5 Stars
Quick Overview:
Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory
with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable
horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their
ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets
will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more
powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief
and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris
must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she
may lose by doing so.
What I Thought:
This. Was. A. Awesome, Amazing, Epic, Really Really Cool. Book.
There is no more to say, other than to go buy this book and Divergent at ONCE.
Veronica Roth kept me on my seat the ENTIRE time. I loved, loved, loved this book. There are not many books that can make me say that, but this one did. Relationships were built between the characters that were real and not cheesy. The plot became thicker with every page. When the characters were heartbroken, so was I, because with all the details, you became Tris, and Four, and every other character in the book.
This is a MUST read!!!!!!!!!!!!!
